A Little Me Time

My hope is that each of you have the Christmas that you always wanted and that the spirit of Christmas last throughout the year for you and your loved ones.

Although there will be posts this week and the next, I will be taking some vacation time to enjoy the holidays as well.  My Alaska series will return on Monday, January 5th.

I’m so glad you’re writing regularly again, I guess I can spare you for a couple of weeks. 🙂 Have a blessed Christmas with three of your favorite people and your grand dog.

Merry Christmas to all of you. Guess I am now officially sending New Year’s letters. I have passed the deadline. Love you all of you. Try not to grieve. Remember the good times and go get another pup after the holidays. You have time to get it trained before the baby comes. Let them grow up together. That way the pup will bond with the baby and be constant companions. It took us awhile to figure that out. Each of our kids had a dog when the babies came. The only one who transferred her affection to the kids easily was our son’s golden. The other dogs remained mostly focused on the adults.. Wouldn’t take a million dollars for the memories of our kids and our first collie together. It was like a Lassie moved. She id everything with them and I mean everything. Thinking of you guys. We’ll send pics. Can’t believe this will be a last Christmas for awhile. We’re figuring they will be able to come home for Christmas year after next since their 18 mons. will be up in training. Trying our best not to think about it.
